Our Story

Clothing that keeps the everyday yours

Accessible Wear began with a simple, frustrating moment — watching someone we love give up on a favourite blouse because the buttons had become impossible.

Getting dressed is one of the first things we learn to do for ourselves, and one of the last we want to give up. Yet so much ‘adaptive’ clothing still looks like it belongs in a hospital, not a wardrobe. We thought that was wrong.

So we set out to make adaptive clothing that looks and feels like ordinary clothing — because dignity is in the details. Magnetic buttons that fasten with a gentle press. Open-back tops for seated or assisted dressing. Soft, easy-care fabrics. Footwear that opens wide for swollen feet. Each piece is designed around real needs: arthritis, limited mobility, one-handed dressing, recovery and care.

What we believe

  • Independence matters. The freedom to dress yourself is worth protecting.
  • Adaptive shouldn’t look adaptive. Hidden adaptations, classic styles.
  • Comfort is non-negotiable. Soft fabrics, flat seams, thoughtful fits.
  • People before products. Friendly, patient help whenever you need it.
